Our Story
Kids Active Fun began as a dream shared by two Canadian parents, Sarah Mitchell and David Thompson, who noticed a lack of truly safe and educational entertainment options for children in their Toronto community. After years of taking their own children to various play centers and amusement parks, they realized that most facilities focused either on pure entertainment or education, but rarely combined both effectively.
In 2015, with backgrounds in early childhood development and engineering respectively, Sarah and David pooled their resources and expertise to create something special. They envisioned a place where children could experience the thrill of amusement park rides while simultaneously engaging in meaningful learning experiences that would contribute to their cognitive and social development.
What started as a small indoor play center in downtown Toronto has now grown into Canada's most beloved children's amusement park, spanning over 15 acres and welcoming more than 200,000 families annually. Our commitment to safety, education, and pure fun has made us a destination that parents trust and children absolutely love.
Today, Kids Active Fun stands as a testament to the power of combining passion with purpose. We've expanded beyond just rides and games to include educational workshops, birthday party services, summer camps, and community outreach programs that serve families across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.
